After HoN came out, however, it all changed. Core members of the raid were frequently dodging raid nights, and a few times the raid leader even called the night early when progression on a boss fight wasn't up to his satisfaction. The reason? He and half the guild were more interested in playing HoN than raiding.
In the past six months, I've noticed the same thing happening again with League of Legends-- only it's a hundred times worse, because it seems like everyone and their mother is playing this game. As such, I have developed a potential solution to dodgy guildmates. Using transmogrification, your guildies can now transform themselves into two of the most popularLeague of Legends characters, Graves and Ashe. Who knows? In doing so, maybe they'll actually work on last hitting the damned boss for a change.
Graves' most defining feature is his cloak, which drapes over the front of his left shoulder. No such model is available in WoW, so I've improvised by usingChampion Herod's Shoulder. Even though the pauldrons Graves wear are gold in color, by using an asymmetrical shoulder model, we can draw more attention to the character's cloak.
- Shoulders Champion Herod's Shoulder
- Back Flarecrazed Cloak Horde players can try tracking down any of the following cloaks as alternatives: Farseer Cloak, Illskar's Greatcloak, or Regent's Cloak.
- Chest Battle Chain Tunic
- Shirt Blue Workman's Shirt
- Hands Gloves of Foolish Innocence There is an identical Horde version of these gloves available.
- Waist Vicious Charscale Belt
- Legs Bloodbinder's Links
- Feet Boots of Renewed Flight
- Main-hand weapon Mimiron's Repeater
Ashe
After piecing together this outfit for Ashe, I don't think it's necessarily possible for everyLeague of Legends character to be recreated with transmogrification. Even if you can pull together an outfit that is technically accurate, the art styles from both games are so dramatically different that it's difficult to capture the look of one polygonal character to another. At the very least, this is one sexy hunter outfit for those of you who are into that kind of thing.
- Head Savage Gladiator's Chain Helm
- Shoulders Barrage Shoulders
- Back Inherited Cape of The Black Baron
- Chest Soldier's Armor
- Wrists Ebonhold Wristguards You can substitute these bracers with any dark-colored bracer that extends past the sleeve, or leave them out entirely. I used them to give the appearance of a longer glove, but it won't break the outfit if they're not present.
- Hands Soldier's Gauntlets
- Waist Impenetrable Belt You can use any belt here that fits the look. I went with a bright silver belt to try at recreating the wide, high waist belt Ashe wears. Another approach you can take is using a belt that blends in with the legs, like Protector Waistband, then wear Wound Dressing as a shirt so you can display a belt-like band of color above your character's midriff.
- Legs Protector Legguards
- Feet Phalanx Boots
- Main-hand weapon Ethereal Warp-Bow
